We're a diverse bunch who operate beyond the realms of traditional production companies
We bridge the gap between creative agency and production studio, adapting our services to suit the needs and processes of our clients. We have a culturally focused mandate and have carefully built a reputation for both production quality and environmental and social consciousness. We even apply this mandate here in our studio where we take the time to nurture young and creative talent.
Our fearless leader! After studying at the University of Bristol, James began to work his way up the ranks of the BBC. But with creative energy that quite often has him literally bouncing off the walls, his sights soon turned to starting his own production company and Pink Banana Studios was born. James remains completely hands on, overseeing projects – from the initial idea through to the final edit. To “relax”, James makes documentaries and saves elephants...
Gideon joined the company in 2013, starting as an Editor before quickly taking on the mantle of Director. He was awarded a Gold Scholarship from Westminster University and graduated with a degree in Film and TV Production. He was Post-Production supervisor for CLASH magazines coverage of Benicassim Music Festival before finding his way to us. He has seen every video on the internet, apparently.
Ben was welcomed into the Pink Banana family just 2 years after graduation from the University of Westminster and has produced numerous short films to acclaim. Ben loves making quirky documentaries about bespoke crafts and is phenomenally well read. Known to go above and beyond for every production, Ben once turned his bedroom into a 60's living room for a short film but broke all his furniture in the process.
